FAMILY RESPONSIBILITIES AT
LAGUNA PARENT PARTICIPATION PRESCHOOL:
Parents in 3 day and PK classes work
two or three times per month. Child attends every MWF
Parent in 2 Day class work 1 or 2 times
per month. Child attends every T/TH
Parent work days begin half an hour
early and stay 15 minutes after class times
Parents bring family style Snack for
entire class approximately once per month. Guidelines for healthy snacks and
allergy requirements provided.
Mandatory participation in two
fundraisers each year.
Trike-a-thon in November ( children
collect pledges for laps for min $40) each family donates a homemade skill
or service for a raffle. Family picnic type event.
Silent Auction: Adult only dinner and
silent auction, attendance and ticket purchase required. Must solicit two
corporate donations for auction.
Pastapalooza: optional family pasta
dinner at school
Each family must provide 4 hours of
school maintenance per year. Some are special volunteer projects, some
assigned task cards. Two hours must occur for set up or clean up of school
year.
Each family holds a yearlong job
within the school. Anything from play dough maker to president!
